Erica Knight, MFT

Therapy is a process of healing and transformation. It invites our forsaken, wounded parts into awareness and holds them with love and respect, allowing us to become more whole, vibrant, and connected. When we bring our shadows into the light, or venture into the darkness to meet them, they lose their power over us and something new can emerge.

As your therapist, I am here to accompany you on this powerful journey of coming to know and love yourself. My style is warm, nonjudgmental, present, and deep. I support your healing and development at every level and dimension of consciousness. Together we explore how physical sensations, emotions, thoughts, and intuitions interweave to create your experience of the world. We also utilize the emotional dynamic alive and present between us to engage with transformative relational work in the here-and-now. As your heart opens and mindfulness increases, you discover more freedom from painful cycles and habits, and more contact with your essential nature.

I received my Masters in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies. My practice is informed by the study of nondual and earth-based wisdom traditions, meditation practice, and a deep connection with the natural world. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in the field of immigration law. I spent years living abroad in Latin America and speak Spanish fluently. I welcome people of all cultures, backgrounds, relationship styles, orientations, genders, and those wishing to work with the ways that inequity and social oppression play out in our individual and collective psyches.
