“When we are no longer able to change a situation – we are challenged to change ourselves.”
-Viktor E. Frankl

Sometimes life presents us with challenges and transitions we do not feel equipped to manage. Seeking guidance and assistance is a courageous first step toward healing.

Are you challenged or overwhelmed by a relationship, illness, parenthood, work, or grief? Therapy helps you recognize and foster awareness around your beliefs, behaviors and relationships while identifying those which are not helpful. My integral and humanistic approach is to attend to each individual holistically while considering their cognitive mind, body, and spirit. Together, we will explore your experiences in the present and, as needed, we may examine the past for clues to shed light on patterns that may have been learned long ago.

In therapy, I offer an open, compassionate, and non-judgmental heart while providing support as you seek relief and discover what is meaningful in your life. Our therapeutic relationship will encourage your agency, self-esteem and confidence. As your therapist, I will be your guide as you begin to recognize your potential and celebrate your authentic self. I am a curious empath who is passionate about creativity, nature, humor, and social justice, and I welcome working with all genders, ages, cultures, religions, and orientations.

Some of the issues I work with are:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Life transitions: marriage, birth, parenthood, divorce, and death
  • Grief, loss, and bereavement
  • Health issues: chronic and terminal
  • Fertility issues
  • Career growth and development
  • Stress management
  • Acute and complex trauma

Education and Experience

I am a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with an MA in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies. Previously, I had the pleasure of training at Golden Gate Integral Counseling Center and working with a diverse range of clients. I was raised in the Midwest where I originally studied art and design, and today, I remain passionate about the arts and their healing potential as a creator and as an observer. As an adult, I lived in New York City for a number of years before relocating to San Francisco 14 years ago. Before becoming a therapist, I was a product designer, designing accessories for major fashion and home retailers. My former experience as a designer and my current position as a psychotherapist offers me a unique insight into the complicated relational dynamics within the business world. In my free time, I enjoy exploring and experiencing nature with my partner and young child.
