Marin Satellite Office
So you are searching for someone to work with. Welcome. Basically, I see the potential in others and this excites me. My approach is collaborative. Together we will investigate what is working in your life and what is no longer serving you.
I use traditional talk therapy that moves beyond the couch by using theatre and expressive arts, guided imagery, metaphors, mindfulness, nature and body wisdom. I work with anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges and self-esteem and more.
My strong background in the arts promotes play and creativity as a vehicle for change. I integrate DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) techniques with the creativity of Drama Therapy. I use Hakomi as well. This mindful somatic approach, unpacks fears and blocks. I do all this in a nurturing, contained environment. My hope is that you will feel seen and heard and learn more about yourself.
I have experience working with various populations that include the bereaved, co-dependents, inmates, and actors. I also like working with teens. I bring my compassion, love and skills from 25 years of raising three sons.
I am grateful to be able to do this work. I welcome the opportunity to speak with you should you so desire. I am happy to provide a free 20 minute phone consultation. I wish you well on your journey to find relief. I celebrate that by researching therapists, you have already put in motion the action toward personal change.

I have a Masters in Counseling Psychology from CIIS and I am a Registered Drama Therapist –RDT. My previous clinical training includes working at Langley Porter Psychiatric Hospital at UCSF, San Quentin Prison doing Shakespeare Behind Bars and Elementary and Middle School Counselor with Seeds of Awareness. In addition to my private practice, I work as a grief counselor at Hospice By the Bay.
I had a career as a copywriter in advertising, an archaeologist and an actress. All these involve being curious about how people choose to live their lives. The move into psychotherapy was a natural one. Together we will find a way to let your joy and delight shine through.
